I have been thinking lately about the state of VR and why a lot of people talk about Virtual Reality dying. I mostly think it has something to do VR trying to find its place in the world. At the moment there are two kinds of VR players, there are the mature adults who can afford the high-end PCVR headsets and prefer to play mature themed games and then there are the kids or teenagers who got a Quest for their birthday, but they prefer to play games like Gorilla Tag. Eventually these kids will grow up to be adults and they will want to play mature VR games as well. It's just going to take some time, but I don't see the growth of VR stopping anytime soon.
