TLDR:

Wow's biggest problem is that it has tried to continually add more and more to the game that the fan base has been given way too many paths to walk.
Now in WoD when some of those paths were cut short, the community is in an uproar instead of recognizing the things that were added that are just as important as the things that weren't.
The only fix is stripping the focus of the game back to singularity in PVE and fantasy progression, but will simply never happen.

The community has gotten so out of control with needing everything all the time, that no matter what is added to the game it will snub some one else. People are unrealistically quick to blame developers or features instead of taking the time to realize that there is even more to do than ever before in World of Warcraft, and they simply aren't doing it - a direct result of WoW's efforts to make everything under the sun a part of the game and is proven when you realize that not a single player has every achievement point in the video game.

This video was created as a direct response to Ion's QnA, some of the questions that were asked, and the immediate negative response by the vocal minority in the community that continue to make the atmosphere for development impossible.
