It’s been two years since I acquired what no Animal Crossing fan should be without: an official Isabelle plushie from BABW! I’ve loved Animal Crossing since picking up a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in 2020.

ACNH has done so much to me during the hardest times. It has helped me cope when I was moving out of my first apartment in Albion, NY after I had been given the dreaded eviction notice from my landlady. Isabelle (who was later joined by Tom Nook in September 2021) has been a comfort buddy, and will continue to be the occasional comfort buddy (despite the Mario phase I’m currently going through).

This video slideshow documents the moments I’ve captured with my BABW Isabelle - from the first picture I took of her en route to my current apartment in Medina, NY (where I currently reside) to a “2 Year Gotcha Day Party” at Tully’s and visiting my fellow neighbor Master Chief (he has a real name, but due to a falling out we had yesterday, I am NOT going to mention his real name right now for my own safety), where she was joined with K.K. Slider.
