This is a visual effect that's sorta similar to Wario's "Big Chungus" Glitch in which you need the Camera to navigate to see. This can be done using Isabelle or Villager's Net when grabbing the opponent. If you angle the Camera to see through the net, most of the characters will be missing their arms and their head. It's quite a funny visual glitch!
