Islanders | A Minimalist Resource Management Game
9Today's indie games spotlight is Islanders. Islanders is a minimalist resource management game. Your goal is simple, achieve the highest possible score while managing your resources in an attempt to build the best possible town, city, or industrial area.
In each new run, you will start off with a small plot of land. Each plot of land is randomly generated. Do your best to get the highest possible score before moving on to a new island. With each new island you unlock, resources become harder to manage and you will eventually come to an end. So how high can you get your score?
This is a really chill game. One that I picked up on a whim and have probably spent the most time playing on Steam. If you're looking for something to pass the time with beautiful color and relaxing sound Islanders is a great choice and a game I highly recommend.
