The Is/Ought problem is about the fundamental divide between science and ethics, which requires an ethical framework to bridge. Science on its own can only tell you about the world, it can't tell you what you should do without having some value system imposed upon it. Often times this is a naive utilitarian viewpoint, which sometimes works and sometimes is insufficient to meet the needs of humans who don't share such a viewpoint.

The Naturalistic Fallacy ties in with Status Quo bias, the very human desire for things to remain the same. Naturalistic fallacies take the form of "Something is natural so that something is moral" or "That is unnatural, so it is wrong." For example, vegetarianism is often attacked on the grounds that it is natural for humans to eat meat.

In terms of beautiful computer science, we showed today how simple things can result in complicated outcomes (using recursive fractals) and how complicated things can be made simple (through divide and conquer).
