It feels good, doing one thing for Sam! - Subnautica Below Zero Playthrough
4Todays episode of the Subnautica Below Zero playthrough, is completely Chaotic! I fall through the MAP trying to Tame a Snow Stalker just after an Ice Worm also Glitched through some Ice to attack me! And I go off to Cure the Frozen Leviathan, WITHOUT the antidote! My head just wasn't in the game today, but I we do finish Sam's storyline by Curing the Kharaa, and saving the Planet, once again! So come and see how the Chaos starts out troops!
To start us off though, we begin back at my base, where I have gathered all the materials to build the Teleportation Module for the Seatruck, and the Tether Tool that can apparently teleport us to any docked Seatruck teleportation module! Which is actually also quite the task because I think I left some of the materials back on my Fabrication module, which is back at the Lilypad base, but we have enough materials here, so it's not all bad! Of course I do a little test run of this amazing new mechanic that's in the game! And it WORKS! I actually get teleported straight to the Seatruck, and it is honestly so amazing! Something I wish had been in the original Subnautica, but it's here now and that's all that matters! You should come and check out how cool this is though troops!
Once that's over with though, I finally start the journey for Phi Robotics and the Glacial Basin! The original plan for today, was to try and use the Thumpers that I found the blueprint for, and these things can apparently Deter Ice Worms? So of course I wanted to see if that works! And whilst I was there, I thought I'd also test if I could give a Wild Snow Stalker, some of Preston's Fruits to try and Tame them! So I had really good plans for the episode, and Technically, I got to do them, but it did NOT go smoothly at all! So I'm going through the Ice spires area I think it's called, where the Ice Worms live, and I stop under one of the Spires because I wanted to try the Snow Stalker test! This is of course, when the Ice Worm shows up to Ruin my day!
It even Glitches through the Ice Spire just to EAT me! And also kind of glitched Me through the ice as well? It was a really Crazy Ten seconds! Although, this also gave me a chance to use the Thumper, which I actually think maybe glitched the Ice Worm out a little bit? Once the Thumper was set up, the Worm just kept doing the same action, it was pretty strange! And once I picked the thumper back up, the Ice Worm went back underground, giving me the chance to Escape finally! And this is when I try my Preston Fruit test on a wild Snow Stalker! I won't tell you what happened with it, because It's much better to see this for yourself! It's actually really cool what happens when you try to feed a Snow Stalker, so let me know what you think about it in the Comments troops!
This is when I fall through the MAP though, I was just walking to the side and Boom, fell through the floor! So I do Load the game, because I really didn't want to lose everything I had because of falling through the Map! I apologise if you think that's Cheating or anything! Although, once the Chaos is over (for now), I decide to just go and take the Antidote for the Kharaa, to the Frozen Leviathan and see what happens! And of course, I go all that way, still not really knowing the Map, so it takes a little while, and what do I realise when I get there? Only that I DON'T have the actual Antidote on me! So of course I go back to get it, but it only takes two seconds to you all, so don't Worry!
I won't say what happens with Curing the Kharaa (AGAIN), though so you should definitely come and check that out, because Robin and Al-An have a little emotional conversion about closure, and how we have now finished Sam's Mission! But there could still be more to come from Sam's side of the game, so Stay tuned for that troops! For next week though, I'll be doing things for Al-An and Exploring until he tells me where the rest of his Body is hiding! So please come along for that Scary deep down, journey!
