You've lost, you know that don't you?! - Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition Playthrough
3Today is the day troops, the Last episode of the Mass Effect 1 playthrough! Shepard finally catches up with Saren, after chasing him for this entire time but does she get to him on time? We get to see Sovereign up close, maybe even a bit too close! And Shepard also has a very Tough choice to make, Sacrifice or Save the Council? Come find out how this Crazy journey ends troops!
To start us off, we're back where we left it from last week after we came through the Inactive Mass Relay that's been on the Citadel this whole time without anyone ever Noticing apparently! We are HOT on Saren's heels, and he is about to learn what it means to make Shepard go on this wild goose chase! Firstly though, we have a small chat with Avina, the Citadel's Virtual Intelligence, who gives us a little update on the Status of the Citadel and it isn't looking Great really! So now Shepard has a Race against the Clock (Not literally), to get to Saren and make sure he can't let Sovereign take control of the Citadel, or he'll Summon all of his Reaper friends, and we Definitely cannot have that!
As Shepard is chasing after Saren, he shuts down the Elevator so that he can Try and Stop us, but he's a Fool if he thinks No Gravity will stop Shepard! We of course, find a way to get outside of the Elevator and start making our way towards Sovereign and Saren, outside with no Oxygen! On our way to stopping the takeover, we obviously run into LOTS of Geth and some Krogan, so Shepard, Liara and Tali have a good old fight on their hands! In between these fights though, there's Really Cool Cut Scenes of Sovereign getting to the Citadel, and the Alliance Fleet trying to get the upper hand over Sovereign! They're amazing scenes and really set the Atmosphere for how Shepard now has to HURRY UP!
Of course, we get to Saren through his Army of Geth, and we have a good Chat about how he's Given up and Surrendered to the Reapers, basically! Shepard still has a trick or two up her sleeve, but will they help convince Saren that he's being Used? We soon find out whoever, that Saren has been "Upgraded" by Sovereign, and he isn't quite himself anymore! And boy did he get Much creepier! You should come see New Saren! But I don't want to give away the Ending of the game of course, it's much more Dramatic if you just come and see for yourself! But there are still 2 Major decisions to make at the end, to Save or Sacrifice the Council, and also Who Shepard wants to see represent the Human Race in the Galactic Council! So you should stay until the end, to see what choices I make! And I would love it if you let me know what choices You make at the end of the Game!
Next week, I think we'll be starting Mass Effect 2, so you should Stay Tuned for that troops, to see what the story has in store for Shepard!
