The Lazarus Project will proceed as planned! - Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition Playthrough
3Today, since we completed Mass Effect 1, we are finally moving on to Mass Effect 2 of the Legendary Edition! We have a new journey starting here today, with a Not so Happy beginning and an even Stranger turn of Events! Has Shepard ended up working for the Enemy? And more importantly, is there a Death in the episode? Come have a look troops!
To start us off though, we are introduced to Two new very interesting Strangers who are talking about Shepard and all that she's done for Humanity, and about how she's apparently Uncovered the Truth, but what does that mean? After this Mysterious conversation though, we're taken back to the Normandy for the first time in Mass Effect 2! Although, things aren't as Happy go Lucky as we'd like to think after Saving the Galaxy! This is when things to Belly Up, and all of a Sudden? The Normandy is being Chased, and Fired at by an even more Unknown Enemy that isn't the Geth!
Flash Forward, because I'm not giving the Major details away of course, and we see Shepard being told that she has to Wake up and Get the Heck out of Dodge! She's on a Strange Station, with people we've Never Met before, and being given Orders by someone we can't even See! Although Shepard isn't one for letting people tell her what to do, she also isn't a fan of Dying, so we get out of Wherever we are, and keep taking orders from this Mysterious woman on the intercom! We then end up bumping into someone called Jacob, the most important character in Mass Effect 2 of course! (That's a Joke obviously). And this is when Shepard is filled in on Everything, Where she is, what the Lazarus Project is, and Why she's even here in the first place, we just had to fight our way through some Mecs to get to that point!
Again though, I don't want to give Everything away, but lets just say, Shepard and Jacob have to continue fighting their way through Enemies, and end up meeting another person called Wilson, who is a bit weird straight off the bat! This is also when we find out Who we are helping, and who Saved Shepard's life! An organisation called Cerberus! We've met them, and they are NOT the good guys! But now we have to Fight even more as a Trio, to try and get off this Station, or to try and find the woman who was Helping Shepard from the start, her name is Miranda, and she's Nowhere to be seen for now! Until she is, and it's not good news for Wilson when she is found! Once we meet Miranda though, she tells us that her Boss apparently wants to speak with Shepard, and that she has No choice in the matter!
So off we go to another place that we Don't know, with people we've Just met! Shepard has no Idea what's going on, and she has to go talk to someone called The Illusive Man? This just keeps getting weirder and weirder by the minute! But, next week is when we will be talking to this Illusive Man, to see what he has to say and to hopefully find out what Cerberus wants from Shepard in the first place! Is it for anything Good?
