It Takes Two - Part 1 - Is That A Vacuum?
0Hello everyone and welcome to a new game series of It Takes Two. This is a beautiful two player coop game that I have absolutely loves playing through with my partner. I am super excited to shear this with you all as I know you will love it too!
Once we are both connected we meet our characters, we learn that there is a mum, dad and daughter named rose. We see straight from the start that rose is caught between her parents fighting and they are about to get divorced. We are then able to pick what side we will be playing through rose's wooden dolls. At dinner they decide to tell rose the truth, this upsets her so much that she wishes to a old book she found that her mum and dad will be friends again.
Next thing we know Cody & May wake up as the small toy dolls. The old book also comes to life and has a quest to get us to fall in love once again. Cody & May see rose in the distance and try to head to her for help, this is when we are introduced to the gameplay and tutorial. The world around is very interactive and we are able to use items such as jars to reach new areas. The tutorial teaches us that there are part that we need to work together by pressing buttons at the same time. This game will take a lot of coordination from the two players.
As we reach the end of the tutorial the book gets in our way again. He shows us the vacuum cleaner who has also come to life and is very unhappy with Cody. The vacuum spits us out even further away from Rose, to get back we need to defeat the vacuum. This is the start of our actual first level.
This level is filled with vacuum pipes that we can use to get around the level to different points. We will also have to hold the pipes in certain directions to allow our partner to reach certain platforms. As we progress through the game you are able to see the changes in camera angle and design that just make this game really pop.
Once we reach the end of the level we must defeat the vacuum to progress towards Rose. The vacuum shoots out cans that are on fire and places them onto the floor, we are able to shoot these cans back at the vacuum and deal damage. After reach round there are waves of dust and mines that we must also avoid. After a good fight we manage to take down the vacuum.
