These earbuds magnetically hold together when not in use to keep them around your neck and prevent them from falling off. They deliver excellent crisp clear sound with decent bass, though they have no earhook or grip to keep them firmly in the ear canal when in motion so I found they did tend to slip out while doing running and jogging.
