[ITG] Light Switch - MLA Edition
17Hello, Today we gather to celebrate the superior formatting standard. When I first heard Light Switch this gimmick felt natural, CASU initially mentioned doing some sort of light gimmick. It was low priority though, something I might do.
Fast forward a long time, @dannyboyk2 discovers a pump co-op chart https://youtu.be/SRw7uMGLHjg to the song which ended up being my favorite rendition of it. It got stuck in my head after playing it at the latest PGH rhythm games meetup.
When I got back home the initial plan was to make an itg couples chart for it. But I wanted to do the gimmick version first. When I started I was like "Yknow, I feel like I've seen this gimmick before."
One of MLA/hemaglox's submissions for UPS4 was: https://youtu.be/0GUwHJqNXZ4. Twas their first lua chart which HONESTLY is pretty impressive if you ask me. Also that gimmick was so fitting for the song.
anyways, I feel like that was exactly what I wanted so full credits for the gimmick go to MLA. I did take some... creative liberties though so it's a lil different.
I wanted to make a new chart. I like highflyer's and I think most of the community does too. I was mainly focused on putting a gimmick on the song so I was just going to do that to their chart and then Switch to working on the couples chart. But then the rotation gods spoke to me and I made my own edit. It's just my own edition of their chart (left side) so ofc shoutout to them for original chart. It has spins during the hook , they're a bit fast so I do have a Hard difficulty for those who don't want to do those (uses rhythms from pump chart in its place). There's other differences too but that's the thing of note
oh the background. I felt it fitting for the MLA Edition to feature the legend himself.
The ending with the multiple colors I credit to Redbeast for the idea as they came up with the idea when i was testing things

Might do some tweaks later on if I come back to it, might use it for certain tournament early next year. I was in a rush putting it out so you might notice some slighttttt hiccups, but this is basicallyyy the gist so who cares
