Continuing to invest into this unproven concept that appeared to be “damaged goods” was a massive risk. But fortunately for all of us, the designers behind the first “Ugly Sonic” didn’t shut down their dream simply because their first attempt was a massive failure... and “Ugly Sonic” was reimagined and became the impetus for the most successful video game movie franchise in history.
