I CAN upgrade my abilities and stock but nothing else. Can't upgrade crossbow bolts, can't increase crit, fire rate or damage multiplier, etc.

One of the shittiest parts of the early game for me: Day-light section with big dumb arrows raining from towers in the distance, but hey at least it eventually leads us to a cool cemetery/church segment.
