j-hope Military : How Hobi Supported BTS Before Enlistment
720Hobi sees BTS more like family than friends. They are a huge part of the person that he is today. Hobi would do anything to show how much he loves BTS. He even spent a lot of time making bracelets for them.
Nobody supports BTS more than BTS themselves. Hobi even used the small time he left before enlisting to support his members' solo activities.
After Jin's enlistment, Hobi seemingly hinted that he was the next one to go. During his birthday livestream, Hobi was asked if he'll go to Yoongi's Agust D tour (April - August 2023). Hobi just smiled.
In February 2023, Big Hit announced Hobi's enlistment. Days before he went to the military, Hobi took to Weverse to bid farewell. It was an emotional rollercoaster for everyone. BANGTANTV shared a video before Hobi headed out for his duties.
Hobi enlisted in the military on April 2023. But before Hobi went to his mandatory military service, he made sure to use whatever time he had left to cheer for his members.
During the MV shoot, I couldn't help but notice Jin's somber mood. Fortunately, Hobi arrived to brighten Jin's day. And just like that, Jin got back to his cheerful self. Jin truly appreciated Hobi's presence. Let's not forget the mandatory selfie for Hope Film.
The next member to go solo was Hobi, and after him was Namjoon. Namjoon looked serious and focused during the MV shoot for Wild Flower. He said something in the beginning that struck me the most. While Namjoon was imagining a crowd, he had no idea that someone, other than the staff, was actually watching.

Next up was Jimin. Despite being the most nervous about going solo, Jimin was very excited during the Like Crazy MV shoot. But then the worries kicked in. Luckily, his Hobi hyung arrived to bring his confidence back.
Jimin was clearly happy that his former roomie came to cheer him on. Hobi also went to Jimin's solo appearance on Music Bank. Hobi even joined Jimin's dance challenge for his solo songs.
Next was Yoongi's solo activity. Yoongi is always serious when working, but he couldn't help but smile when Hobi arrived at the Amygdala MV shoot.
Unfortunately, Hobi was already serving in the military during Taehyung and Jungkook's solo promotions. But of course, he used his free time to promote them. And send them off. In fact, JK is even featured in his upcoming album.
