Some more details of the audio issue for those interested.
Normally I use my headset as both my audio and microphone, OSB Studio which I use understands that I want to pick up whatever sound is coming from my computer anywhere when I record like that. For this recording however I had the sound coming out of my speakers and ONLY using my headset for the mic. It picked us up talking good for the most part (thankfully). But OBS was ONLY accepting sound from the microphone. Therefore any sound from the game heard was just being picked up from the microphone to the speakers, but because we didn't have the game turned up too loud it often didn't reach the minimum input for sound theshold to accept the input from the microphone. Again, fine when we were talking but the game sound wasn't loud enough to consistently record any time other than when we were talking accept for some certain points where it was louder than normal.
