1Instead of writing a long description , I'll just put the "Confession" that the game put as a text file on my desktop while I was playing.

I stopped praying every night and haven't attended mass either
Mostly skipped out on church due to me throwing up in the pews from all the damn incense.
I mean, I haven't murdered anyone, or anything terrible like that. I just stopped relying on religion as a comfort.
I look at the changes and continuties over time and religion seems to be the primary cause of human strife
Just look at the crusades, the shia sunni split, the protestant catholic split...

I just don't think god would want us to fight over such trivialities. God or no god, we should just try to be decent to each other.

I think we can live perfectly ethical and fufilling lives without the threat or promise of some afterlife.
If the stories make people live better lives, then great. I'm all for it.
However, if it's interpreted completely literally then there's going to be problems.
It's just a very long game of telephone, and there is bound to be some things lost in translation along the way.
We are not sinners. We aren't terrible human beings.
