Jade Cocoon: Demo Version (1999) Full Playthrough
A full playthrough of Jade Cocoon's demo version. This was one of the playable games released on Official UK PlayStation Magazine's Demo 53 for Christmas 1999. The game launched in July of thay year for America and in November for Europe. There are several notable differences between the demo version and the full release version. I'll list these below:
- Mahbu is refered to as Mavoo by Mother Garai in dialogue
- The inflection and wording of several Mahbu voice lines are altered and or changed
- The opening cinematic is shortened and its background music is different
- Koris has differing dialogue when discussing the elemental differences of minions
- The Stranger Levant encounters in the Beetle Forest speaks in a different tone
- Mahbu's purification voice lines lack their magical echo
- Upon reaching Koris he tells Levant that he must return to Syrus and train to prepare
- Levant starts with two minions in his possession upon entering Beetle Forest
