3Jade first appeared in Mortal Kombat 2 (1993) as a hidden opponent, and was first playable in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995) She's Edenian and has been friends with Kitana since childhood. She served Shao Kahn as an assassin and spy for most of her life, alongside Kitana and Mileena. When Kitana finally broke away from Shao Kahn, Jade chose to join her rather than continue with the evil Emperor. Jade is formal, mysterious and fierce, she fights with a bo staff and a three bladed boomerang type weapon that's razor sharp. She's confident and dependable, and has been a strong ally to Kitana and her vision of Outworld and Edenia's future. In Mortal Kombat 11 its revealed that she's romantically involved with Kotal Kahn.
