From developer Naughty Dog. One of the ten pillars of the PS2's Fall 2001 line-up, Jak and Daxter is a solid 3D platformer with tight controls and well-rendered stylized graphics. It's fun, a great blend of challenge and quick progression. Jak has a lot of Crash Bandicoot in the way he controls, the snappiness of the jumps and attacks, and the spin attack in particular, and there are times the camera fixes itself to one position that really gives the Crash provenance away.
