Jak II: Playthrough Part 24: Baron Battle #2: A Fight for the Precursor Stone!
7So after completing both tests of manhood in the Tomb of Mar, Jak opens the gigantic door in the main area of the tomb.
He meets up with Daxter, who managed to survive his forced split-up from him. They gaze at the site of the statue bearing the Precursor Stone, as the voice from before tells them of the war the Precursor had to wage against the Metal Heads long ago.
The Metal Heads were originally called the Hora-quan and manage to eliminate nearly all of the Precursor's existence. The great Mar, himself, tried to preserve the last of their existence by sealing the Precursor Stone in this tomb.
But now the voice sees Jak as a honored heir to inherit the stone to continue preserving the last of the Precursor's existence, even though Jak believes that he was confused for someone well...
When they attempt to grab the stone, somehow, Baron Praxis storms in with a brand new mech. How did he find out about this uncovered tomb?! From the Underground, somehow, since he dealt with them?!
Either way, he was now drilling into the Precursor Stone's perch to claim it for himself on his bid to rule the entire world!

Like in the previous fight, this one is split up into 3 sections based on the Baron's health meter. For the first section, he will shoot Blast Bots at you. They're electrified, so you have to shoot them. Then he'll try to blow you up with bombs. You can knock those bombs back at him for damage.
For the second section, Praxis will do all of this again, except he'll now approach to shoot you down, himself. Just keep hitting him with bombs to reach the third section.
For the third section, the worst has happened. Praxis now has the Precursor Stone! He uses the gem to power up his machine and use a powerful laser to destroy your ground!
(Say, now... This feels like N. Gin's fight in Crash Bandicoot 2, hmmm...?)
So when the Baron is up close again, you'll have to track down the bombs he launches at you to finish him off.

Sure, most of the machine was destroy, but the cockpit remains, where the Baron drives and where the Precursor Stone is perched onto now. He then leaves with the Precursor Stone. Who knows just how much destruction Baron Praxis could cause with it?
He said before the he dealt with the Underground before he headed into the Tomb of Mar. Time to leave the tomb and check up on Torn.

With the end of this fight, Act 2 of this game has come to an end, and Act 3, the final act, is about to begin...
Oh... is that a yellow Krimzon Guard at the end...?
