James Bond 55th Anniversary
4October 5th 1962 marks the release date of the very first Bond movie "Dr. No". This was actually not the super spy's first real life appearance though. In the 50's there was a T.V. Special that played out the story of Casino Royale. Anyways, I figured the best way to celebrate one of my favorite movie franchises I would show the 1983 VHS copy of Dr. No. It's important to note there was one other release of this move before the one shown here. Before CBS merged with 20th Century Fox, Fox produced a few movies first. Dr. No as the Star Wars episode IV where a few of them. As for the box, it pretty much looks the same as the one seen here, except the top says "20th Century Fox" on the top. Also I believe the tape jumps right into the movie. Much like this release does but with out the CBSFOX logo at the very beginning.
