Since Luke technically made his debut as Street Fighter 5’s final DLC character, Jamie is currently the only newcomer that’s been officially revealed for Street Fighter 6 so far — unless you count Kimberly’s sneaky reveal.
Still, quite a bit was revealed about this particular newcomer thanks to the Street Fighter 6 trailer that debuted during Sony’s State of Play, and the PS Blog post.
Earlier, Takayuki Nakayama, game director of Street Fighter 6, shared some interesting details about Luke and Ryu.
Continuing with this reveal method, Nakayama unveiled some new information about Street Fighter 6’s first newcomer, Jamie.

“Jamie is Luke’s rival,” stated Nakayama via Street Fighter’s official Twitter account.
This makes sense as we got our first glimpses of Luke and Jamie’s gameplay as they fought against one another during the recent trailer.
