Sorry for the longer wait for the continuation of this series, but weirdly eventhough I completed 4 previous missions successfully, I was placed on the loosing path - Defensive Ops Phase. I'm not sure what could have caused this, perhaps high rank of my pilot, since I already completed the Flashpoint Korea Campaign from the expansion? Who knows? This was already evident at the end of my previous mission, but I didn't cought it then - there is a clip being played of CIS forces invading Poland. It shouln't be played if you were successfull in at least 2 out of 4 missions from the Recon Phase.

So I created a fresh pilot and flew the initial 4 missions again, completing them all, and this time I was placed on the right track of the mission tree.

According to our recon, CIS forces are getting ready for offensive operations within several hours. We're not going to wait, if they want to f**k around they will find out - we will be conducting preemptive strikes, first we will be hitting their high-value air defence assets.

For tonight strike, our target is a GCI site. After taking it out we will try to hit other targets of opportunity - SAMs and artillery will be our priority.

Reading briefings in Jane's Longbow always felt like being in the military.

Anyway, let's start the rotors and break some sh*t up. Dismissed.
