Today we learn about the adventures of Jankosik! Apparently, he was a real person, but has become something of a folkloric legend in easternish Europe. Interesting stuff.

Reason I picked this up was playing the sequel at PAX West. The Polish delegation kinda tried to explain Janosik to me while playing, but didn't quite manage to convey much beyond that he was the titular character in a Polish 1970s TV show...which you can definitely find on Youtube. Also learned that the dev was a wedding photographer! Turns out when your job is photographic big events, you had a lot of time on your hands circa 2020... Would love to learn what Metroidvanias inspired him, because the some of the mechanics and gameplay concepts definitely say "outsider art" to me.

Also, the level transitions are a bit harsh on MacOS. Couldn't fix it. Everything gamewise just seems to work worse on MacOS these days...
