Back at it again with another MUGEN battle! Ik that Nexus Gaming released Iris a long time ago, it’s just that I wanted to wait to try out another character that was made by one of my friends of which he released a while back. I was originally going to use Buttercup by CS x TBM to defeat Iris, but I decided to try out this new potential applicant of my MUGEN team, The Shadow Superstars Lineup.

So Iris has this kind of unnecessary PotS-styled gameplay which gives her a Hard AI, but at least it’s not bad like varo_hades’s chars. I wanted to use a strong 4th Division character to take her down as a result of that. With the case of Mametchi, my friend @Landonthetoontowntoonytoon did a remake of Alerkina4’s Mametchi, which was a sprite-swap to begin with, and improved the AI, gave him new moves and voice clips, and recoded him so he wouldn’t be a sprite-swap anymore. It’s a pretty good character overall, but there is still much more work that needs to be done with him imho, since there are some glitches with him. But then again, it was his first character, so who’s complaining? Anyway, I decided to try using him to beat Iris, which I had to use more combos than hypers, since he can be a bit tricky to work with.
