Jarra Origin + Anatomy Explored (Men In Black) - Why Is He Called One Of The Most Lethal Villains?
61Jarra, from Men in Black II, is a real piece of work… He’s basically a skinny intergalactic criminal who clutches at big ideas and high-tech gear while riding around on his own mini-flying saucer. Although he’s not on screen for too long, he makes a lasting impression by pulling back his oversized black cloak to reveal that he’s basically a scrawny alien who has replaced his lower half with a small UFO outfitted with levers and dials. That’s not all, he’s got like several mini-clones of himself. I admit it was a bit of a comic relief in the form of a villain, and especially J’s fight with him, but behind all that silliness, Jarra remains dangerous enough to threaten Earth’s well-being, sometimes by trying to steal gaseous layers from the atmosphere and at other times through forging deals with bigger villains like Serleena.
