Friday the 13th’s murderous Jason Voorhees is known to have battled several opponents over the course of time, and he has always emerged victorious, no matter the odds. If you’d remember, he went to space in the 2001 film Jason X. It is a fact that when you make too many films on a particular franchise, you run out of directions to lead the film to. I mean, the same happened with franchises like Leprechaun and Hellraiser in the latter films. Jason X was the final act in the extremely entertaining theatre of absurd of the Friday the 13th series. Nevertheless, in 2006, Avatar Press released a comic book sequel titled Friday the 13th: Jason vs. Jason X to the 2001 film. In the comic, Jason finds himself battling Jason X or Uber Jason, and of course, the battle takes place mostly in space. The two Jasons paint the space red and continue their quest of exacting revenge from rather innocent teenagers.
