Jaxxsin's Journey (Part 1)
1Man what a game Journey turned out to be! I have had several friends recommend this game to me for a long time now and when they put it on the PS4 I figured it was about time to give it a try. Beautiful doesn't even come close to describing this game and the experience in playing it. I have several things wrong with my head but foremost among them, I have a sever fear of dying. I often find myself spinning out of control with thoughts of things that I can't even pray to change or control, so I was surprised at how I felt at the ending of this game. It wasn't panic or sadness, well maybe sadness but a weird kind of sadness, almost like the sadness felt when you finally accept something in your life that you can't change and that makes you feel that chill of loss for a half a second. This game is so beautifully crafted that I could go on for paragraphs about the experience but I will just simply be quiet and let you experience it with me. Now in part 2 you will notice the beginning was filmed later, I'm going to give a detailed explanation there of why the footage was lost, but in a nut shell it boils down to me being entranced by this game and completely forgetting to capture anything. I apologize for this but it will only be a small portion of the game and the rest is filled with my first time reactions to this beautiful game. In part 3 you will also notice that I decided to cut some of the 3rd level out. I did this so that not the entire game is spoiled for the audience, as I recommend that everyone on the PlayStation play this game.
