The original tech was accidentally found by Univa during a race run. It's probably useful in very few spots though I think this segment can benefit from it significantly due to how much walking there is. I'll be referring to this tech as LCB (or Ledge-Cancelled Boost) on my stream and in text.

The speed you get from the boost is pretty inconsistent so I'm sure this can be faster as well. The most significant save her is probably being able to jump straight to the sand. As you can see, I move fast enough with LCB to catch up and pass the RCB demonstration.
