172A playthrough of Gametek's 1992 Sega Genesis game show adaptation, Jeopardy!
This is a really good adaptation of the game - quite a bit better, in fact that the SNES version. The difference between them is a notable one for anyone who's a Gametek fan - this version was done by a totally different development studio than the one on the SNES (done by Imagineering). So, the Genesis and the SNES represent two different interpretations of the game show on competing systems. They look similar, but even with the scratchy voices and super pixelated portraits, the Genesis one feels closer to the show. That, and its answer recognition is nowhere near as rigid and unforgiving as the SNES versions. They're both good, but I definitely prefer this one.
