Space Pirates (PC) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
88A complete playthrough of American Laser Games' 1994 PC DOS light-gun FMV shooter, Space Pirates.
This is a brilliant port of the original LaserDisc game, limitations of the machines it was produced for nonwithstanding, of course. The game runs solidly on a 386/40 DX with a double-speed CD drive, and only runs in VGA - given that, it's pretty incredible how intact the video was... especially if you consider with ALG's games looked like on Sega CD.. hmm.
Anyways, this is one of the company's lesser known games, being one of the few that wasn't ported to every viable platform under the sun. This was only ported to the PC and the 3DO from the original arcade version.
Phenomenally cheesy, and surprisingly higher budget than games like Mad Dog McCree. Revel in the insanity - it's a great ride, I promise.
