Jeremy Renner Joins Jamie Foxx in New Spawn Movie
405Deadline is reporting that Jeremy Renner will be joining Jamie Foxx for the Spawn reboot that is being directed by Todd McFarlane. Renner would be playing iconic character Twitch Williams who is one of the few humans that Spawn aka Al Simmons trusts after he becomes Spawn. Twitch is a slight guy and a detective in the Spawn universe. He’s usually paired up with Sam Burke in the Spawn universe, but has also struck out on his own to solve cases. He is nearly fearless and has seven kids. It’s an interesting character for Renner to take on as he has most recently been known for playing the muscly Hawkeye in the Avengers movies. This will be McFarlane’s debut directorial effort and Jason Blum has surrounded him with two heavyweight actors in Oscar winner Jamie Foxx and now Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner.
