Jerp plays SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption pt.1 (2019-02-22)
1Ever since the Souls-like genre started to take off, I've been keeping an eye out to see which ones pique my interest. Even at first glance, Sinner showed both polish and promise - clean presentation, interesting enemy design, and the combat looked really well-tuned.
The concept of a boss battler with Souls-styled combat is highly appealing (Souls bosses are always a treat) and Sinner lived up to that promise. On top of that, the sacrificing stats and gear as you go (basically down-leveling your character as you progress) has been a favorite concept of mine and the Sinner's execution is great.
