Jesus Instructs His Disciples...
1Hey there, and thank you for watching, here I read from Mathew 10, verse 5 to 42, these are the words of Jesus himself instructing his disciples.
He told them everything they needed to know at that time, how to carry on, how to conduct themselves as his disciples, and so on.
He made it clear that we should not try to force anyone to believe in him, he also made it clear that we will be hated in this world for his namesake.
For God's truth and the gospel creates waves, and divisions in this world, because we are talking about a God of light, shining in the darkness...
And what happens when people who live in darkness, have light shined on them?
They wince and turn away, and quite possibly shun those who carry his message, but let's not lose heart, for we have a mighty God, Amen.
let's not fear mere man, who can harm and kill the body, but do nothing to your soul, but rather fear and respect him, who can cast you from him forever and ever.
We are to live in the world, but not be a part of it, let's try our best to be good disciples of Jesus Christ in this dark age.
For anyone who's ashamed of their Lord and saviour, he will also be ashamed of us...
