FTL is an innovative game about crewing a spaceship across hostile territory. Rather than focusing on the movement of ships in space during combat, it's all about balancing power needs, targeting enemy ship systems, damage control, dealing with boarding parties and such. It's SO much fun and fulfills the dreams of any Star Trek nerd.

The game plays in real time, but can be paused at any time to plan a strategy. The interface is quite simple and intuitive. Despite my early confusion I picked it up pretty quickly.

In my fourth session the Songstryss joins me in my best run so far, in the final sector. Can we defeat the rebel battleship?
