We previously reported talks of some similarities between the Cloverfeild and Super 8 Creatures, and now JJ Abrams answers our looming questions on the mystery monsters.

When asked if the creatures were linked, he said there was indeed ONE common factor... The creator of both creatures was Neville Page. Not bad CLevver Movie buffs!

Despite the reassurance that this is the ONLY similarity, some still argue that the creatures look the same...in response to those claims, Abrams joked by saying, "said, "They actually look very different, but they both have two eyes, a nose and a mouth. So, in that regard, it also looks a lot like Laurence Olivier!"
