John Park's latest build is this wireless AtariFruit joystick -- a Bluetooth enabled controller made from the classic Atari 2600 joystick.
Build your own! https://learn.adafruit.com/atarifruit-2600-joystick/overview
It uses the nRF52 Feather microcontroller, a LiPo battery, a switch, and a USB breakout board for recharging. Use it to control any iCade enabled iOS game, or, with some software mods of your own, any Bluetooth capable game machine!
