This is a great set.
I bought the grey ones, (just over a year ago) because I am painfully boring, and I have had no trouble with these at all. In fact, they are the first thing I reach for when I cook.
I have seen lots of complaints about staining. I don't know if the colored ones are made from different material, but I have not seen any staining on the ladle which I do use on tomato sauce.
Secondly, I have not seen any wear on any of these. Granted I am not the most prolific cook, but I do prep supper about 3 nights a week and I have seen no trouble. The spatula is usually the first to go cause it is sacrificed to a hot fry pan, but this shows no wear so far.
Also, the ladle is admittedly the most secure on the stand, but the other utensils can hang on the stand without the ladle. They all have magnets to hold them together and they all have nubs on the back to hang on the stand.
