Journey to the Savage Planet starts with some of the same space-opera vision as No Man's Sky or Astroneer, and hits a few of the same touchstones ... but where those two are broad freeform procedurally-generated games, Journey to the Savage Planet is a very precisely-designed and hilariously-written metroidvania-style exploration game full of adorable fauna (who are, in turn, full of bright green goo).
