I only had to replace the joystick to stop the drifting. The amazon item I used was the iiwey 2-pack 3D replacement Joystick Analog Thumb Stick for Switch.
I don’t do much repairs and this looked like an easy task. Having the right tools is the key here and the package had everything I needed to fix the drifting.
