JR95 Plays Dragon's Lair II: TimeWarp (Part 2) | Original Arcade Edition
2In this video, JR95 takes another crack at Dragon's Lair II: TimeWarp. This time, he plays the version of the game as it was originally played back in 1991.
What's the difference? Well, the last time I played this game, I played the Director's Cut. That version granted you an easier finale for collecting all eleven treasures, skipping the "fight" with Daphne's monster form. In the arcade original, you have to collect the treasures before you could even reach the final boss. If you missed any before that point, the game would take you back to previous levels so you could get the ones you missed.
Basically, I'm playing this game again so I could have a more complete experience. Since collecting the treasures are mandatory in the Original mode, I added a treasure counter in editing to keep track of the treasures collected.
The only reason why I'm just NOW posting this video was because I had an issue in PowerDirector where the audio was out of sync with the video, and I could not figure out how to solve it. Until today, that is, lol.
