Jukebox Muse has struck again!

I've always liked Tekken's music, and liked to believe it had a firm grip on the annals of fighting game history. Not so much as Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, but still. Each song had its own mood, custom-tailored to suit each fighter, up to Tekken 3 (does the first Tekken Tag count?), which is the one I'm most familiar with. And while Lei Wulong isn't my favorite character, he's FAR from unlikable, believe you me.

And then a while passed, until I saw another fighting game that took my attention- Capcom vs. SNK 2. Tons of Capcom characters I knew from various parts of my childhood, fighting with and against characters from a completely different company that I had no clue about until then. I was astounded.

Fast forward to a few years back, when I'd gotten good enough to reach the (false) final stage- what was my team then, Kyosuke/Mai/Morrigan, I think?- then it clicked. I'd heard that guitar riff before, or something similar! And the result is what you're hearing.

Enjoy this mashup of:
- Lei Wulong's arranged stage theme (Tekken 3), &
- Wipe Out, the theme for the first Osaka stage (Capcom vs. SNK 2)
