Juggling 5K (5000m) in 19:32.34, No Drops
My goal for 2018 was to get a juggling 5K (aka Joggling) under 20 minutes, so I didn't disappoint, lol. I'm pretty happy about this. I also just need to keep training to see how low I can get this time. My time last year when I started back WITHOUT juggling was 24m11s, soooooo I've made a lot of progress. There was a 5K in seminary that wasn't a full 5K that I finished in 17m11s, but I wasn't in that type of shape lol. I was always a quarter-mile and half-mile runner in high school when I ran track, so this is still new territory for me (which is why I don't really have a backlog of 'best times' here).
Sending in for verification. Unfortunately, at some point my GoPro just decided to shut off before I started. So I had a dead GoPro on my chest the whole stupid run. But no drops, and this is the backup in case the GoPro failed me, which it did here. 19:32.32 and 19:32.34 were the two stopwatches here, and 12.5 laps completed on a 400m track for a 5000m run.
Sorry, no Freddy in this one. : ( But I'm really happy with this accomplishment! I'm here and thanking God that I could hit this mark. Now on to the next mark!
