I put too much effort into my Zara AUs I spent like an hour writing how her Cursed Techniques work
Zara's cursed energy is radioactive! (Me being radioactive is a long inside joke, so :3). When you make direct contact with her cursed energy that segment of your body will feel numbed, which can throw you off in combat.
Her main cursed technique allows her to increase and decrease the friction on items she embues with cursed energy. Due to cursed energy embuement not lasting particularly long, she uses this to primarily on her own feet to lower her friction to act as a kind of bootleg superspeed. Increasing fiction to make turns.
Her second, and main offensive cursed technique: Items she can embue with cursed energy can be "detonated" on command, blasting her cursed energy out from them. As the energy fades, this becomes less potent. In emergency scenarios she can cause the cursed energy in her body, more specifically her hands, to explode for a powerful attack, but this will damage her greatly.
Her passive technique allows her to harmlesly absorb radiation and convert it to cursed energy. (this will be relevant later)
Maximum Technique: Demon Core: She expells all the energy in her body in the form of a blast or wave, vulnerable after.
Domain Expansion: Zero Reverse: (Originally named Nuclear Winter, but even though thats a cooler name, Zero Reverse is a reference which ties into the previously mentioned inside joke) A quickly expanding domain that visually appears to be a forest in a nuclear winter, with the center being a crater. Inside everyone is passively bombarded with straight radiation (not CE radiation). Tying in with Zara's radiation absorbtion she passively gains SOME cursed energy back, not enough to fully offset the use of the domain. The air in this domain can be embued and detonated like an object, but only air that she has touched. Half the idea is that even if you beat her, if you dont have RTC you'll probably leave with the radioactive downsides.
Also I designed her fit and everything long before the techniques came to mind. So the weapons kinda dont make sense with her numbing ability existing: BUT Im thinking the crystal on a string could be something she embues with cursed energy, throws, detonates, and pulls back. I later designed the cool swirling energy radiation "halo" but unsure what I want with it. Like maybe I edit a technique or give her a new one that involves it, like her frictionless movement giving her a halo? IDK
