Hey Pack Mates!

Went and got my throat checked out! Everything is fine. They think its inflammation in my throat thats causeing the feeling of a come and go lump.

There's no lumps

Anywho, they stuck a pipe down my nose. At first when the nurse came in they said that and it got a camera at the end of it but they'll spray some meds down my nose first.

I freaked out

I did not want to take the meds or have something in my nose?!?

Mom wasn't too keen on the meds because we don't know them and I got heart problems and thats a clean way to my heart.... And one sounded like something mom had taken and gotten shaky from it. So... NOPE!

But then the doctor came in she was super nice! And didn't pressure me to do anything at all (the nurse was nice too, I was too busy freaking out to notice)

She explained stuff and told me it would only be like 45 seconds (it felt like it was quicker) I didn't do the med spray cause no. Don't want to take the chance if I don't need them

It was weird having a pipe camera stick thingy up one side of my nose lol My eyes started to water too? But I wasn't crying!! It just happened and idk why lol The doctor got me a tissue. Hope she knows I wasn't crying lol Idk. It wasn't as scary as I thought. And now I don't gotta freak out when the lump comes back and think there's something worse. I'll just keep tabs on what I eat that day and stuff.

Also, my nose felt drippy the rest of the day too

The doctor also brought up that she can reffer us to someone that helps with paralyzed vocal cords? I guess they have new less invasive techniquies now? Whatever that means. I remember long ago, the doctors said, yeah we can do surgery and try to fix it but.... I had too many surgeries and this isn't like a health concern. No thank you! :D

But I guess they come up with new stuff that isn't quite invasive.

It was weird. I didn't do the spay, so, it wasn't lubercated or numb
Lol yeah. Maybe. I don't even know what they would do? The vocal cord people I mean. She said they're not that invasive so it might be like speech therapy?

I never really looked into it because I just never thought of it? The psychic like a year ago told my mom to check into it. But when mom brought it up with me (year ago when it was around the reading) I was still very inscure about my voice (still am...) that I didn't want to talk about it lol

I did something like that in first grade (speech therapy thingy) but the teacher was really mean and I was scared of that class
Maybe that's why I never looked into it? Cause it was too tramatic for me lol the old 1st (or was it 2nd or third?) grade speech teacher used to yell at me and get mad whenever I said something wrong or cleared my throat
I totally forgot about those memories
