A stream where I try out a game for the first time. In this case the game is the newly released Bethesda like from Obsidian, Avowed! Like the last two Bethesda likes Obsidian has done, this one seems to be extremely good! One for the ages perhaps with sharp combat, a beautiful world, excellent world building and a way of drawing you in besides. Plus really good looking character options and presets that inspired my character, Mario Mangione.

Suffice to say, this is the complete package and by the end of the stream I was more than sold on continuing off stream, which I will be doing. I'm streaming my first impressions, not the whole thing. That isn't to say that I didn't see a good amount of things in this first stream - I got well past the tutorial, faffed around a healthy amount and even hit some pretty incredible story moments after the big city opened. Game opens with a bang and that's great since this is and will only be said opening.

I'll say, I don't know what was up with the weird bright flashes during some conversations during this stream. I have a regular ass top of the line launch day Xbox Series X but maybe it's a bug just effecting me? If anyone got these flashes let me know - I'm curious.
