So I made some questionable purchases during the midnight hour as the Xbox 360 marketplace was closing. Like picking up some Kinect titles before they were lost to time. But while Harry Potter Kinect might be something better left unpurchased, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena was one of my better choices. While the game on the title of the box isn't great, the prequel that is also included in this game might be one of the best movie tie-in games ever. Escape from Butcher Bay was a fantastic title, that created a great environment, solid characters, and a main protagonist that was not only the model and voice actor for the game, but funded the development studio that created the game as well.
So I figured I would take the time to play some of these questionable purchases on the night time stream, starting with what might be the best of the lot. Let's jump in and see the origin of how Riddick gets his special sight.
