Just a Line failed to Sync iPad (iOS) & OnePlus 6 (Android)

Here you can see me trying to sync the two devices, my OnePlus 6 and the Apple iPad 9.7-inch so I can draw collaboratively using "Just a Line" app. I have no idea why it didn't work and I didn't get any detailed error that explains why the synching procedure failed. Hopefully, developers will be able to help out and spread light over this issue. The pairing was successful, but the sync failed.

The iPad is an ARKit-enabled device and the OnePlus 6 is an ARCore-enabled device, so this should work just fine, but it doesn't.
