I wrote this all out on discord which is why the formatting is weird and why I'm speaking so casually.

maybe because Suika's boss spellcard kinda fucks with the ai, but I've managed to find somewhat of a strat for Chiyari
her ex attacks are still completely broken
and maybe she'd be more threatening in the hands of a player cuz of how the ai prioritized sending boss attacks
therefor making this potentially only apply to ai
but eh
basically assuming you're not being smothered with her ex attacks you just wanna stay in the top to middle portion of the screen
its safest there since her ex attacks mostly chill out on the bottom and rarely go higher than midscreen unless you were already there
you can also just farm meter thanks to her boss nonspell being aimed like aya's
making it easy to recover shield
if there are some of her orbs whilst her boss is out
you should just stream from left to right
or try micrododging in 1 place until you can go down
anyway if there are a decent amount of her orbs during her spell then you may fucked
and the one thing you should avoid at all costs
(4:45) is bombing when there is an absolute shit ton of stuff on shit ton of stuff on the screen
if she bombs in return
she's is gonna send all that stuff back
and pile on the ex attacks
and since those aren't affected by bombs you are basically just letting her setup if you bomb again cuz she'll just bomb back
yeah
that is my analysis
only saving grace is that her orbs do disappear if you kill the boss while they are on screen.
I dunno how much of this will apply to other Chiyari matchups tho.
To be frank I'm not sure how much of this analysis would be useful but nonetheless I was just trying to find some Anti Chiyari tech or anything that helps when fighting her. In a pvp setting, as long as you can manage to overwhelm her and consistently keep your shield up, particularly when her boss is active, you should be able to have a chance at winning. And if bomb tennis happens just make sure you have more bombs than her, or make sure you kill the boss so that all the orbs on the screen disappear. In Suika's case, since her bomb is very active and can move around, it makes it a lot easier compared to other characters, or at least I'd assume its easier because I haven't checked any other character's matchups with Chiyari.
